Our pioneering semiconductor manufacturing programme marks the beginning of an ambitious journey. As one of the first institutions in the country to offer specialized education in this critical field, we've designed a curriculum that aligns with India's rapidly expanding semiconductor ecosystem—covering fabrication, modelling, and packaging with hands-on expertise in precision technologies after thorough consultation with 20+ industries and Academic institutions. Additional cutting-edge programs will follow in due course, each responding to the evolving needs of industry and technology. 

Our mission is clear: to bring industry to our doorstep and prepare students to lead in tomorrow's manufacturing and technology landscape. We're cultivating professionals who will drive India's technological self-reliance and contribute to global advancements in Tech space.

The School of Manufacturing Design & AI at NAMTECH is envisioned as a next-generation hub advancing India’s leadership in semiconductors, precision electronics, and smart manufacturing. Built on the convergence of Design, Automation, and Artificial Intelligence, it equips learners to design intelligent factories, optimize production systems, and engineer the technologies that power Industry 4.0.

With India’s semiconductor market projected to exceed US $100 billion by 2030 and supported by the government’s ₹76,000 crore India Semiconductor Mission, the School responds to a national call for skilled professionals in chip design, automation, and manufacturing intelligence. Its programs—ranging from short-term certifications to master degrees—are co-developed with industry and global partners to ensure deep practical engagement and innovation-led learning.

By fostering a new generation of design-driven technologists, the School aims to strengthen India’s position in global value chains and contribute to Vision 2047—where intelligent, sustainable, and self-reliant manufacturing defines the nation’s growth story.

Welcome to the School of Manufacturing Design & AI at NAMTECH. Our journey started with India’s drive to become a leader in advanced manufacturing and new technologies. We’ve partnered with top universities around the world and are working closely with both domestic and international industry leaders. Together, we’re building an environment where innovative research, modern facilities, and practical challenges come together.

Our programme, the Master in Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology and Management, reflects what we aim to achieve. This programme was created to help address India’s need for skilled semiconductor professionals. We designed the curriculum with leading global semiconductor companies so that students receive the most relevant and up-to-date education.

Students learn everything they need to know about the semiconductor industry from start to finish, so they are ready to join the workforce right away. Our faculty includes renowned academic experts and experienced professionals from top universities and leading semiconductor companies worldwide. We are also building advanced semiconductor labs and pilot manufacturing spaces where students can work on real industry problems through hands-on learning and applied research.
