Automotive Centre of Excellence
NAMTECH's Automotive Centre of Excellence (CoE) serves as a hub for innovation, research and skill development in Automotive Technology including IC Engines, Electric Vehicles and Hydrogen & Fuel Cell powered vehicles. It focuses on advancing areas such as Electric Mobility, Alternate Fuels, Emission Control, Smart Manufacturing, ACES, ADAS, SDVs, Sustainable Materials and management subjects to bridge the gap between academia and industry, driving cutting-edge solutions for the evolving automotive ecosystem.
The Automotive CoE at NAMTECH offers 2-Years Master Programme in Automotive Engineering and Management, designed to create industry-ready professionals & entrepreneurs.
About the Programme
The Master in Automotive Technology and Management is a two-year residential programme, designed to cultivate industry-ready professionals who can make an immediate impact in Automotive Engineering, Technology and Management domains. The curriculum for this programme is being developed with the support of CAAR (Centre for Advanced Automotive Research) at IIT Madras and leading automotive industry experts. The laboratories are being built in collaboration with ARAI (The Automotive Research Association of India) at Pune. NAMTECH is also building up an experience centre and mini factory to provide hands-on experience in battery manufacturing and vehicle manufacturing. The students will have immersion programmes in various automotive test agencies, as well as 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler manufacturing companies and their vendors. NAMTECH has signed MoU with Gravton Motors, Hyderabad, for the student immersion.
With a strong focus on industry collaboration, emerging technologies and experiential learning, the programme equips students and professionals for leadership roles in Automotive Design and Manufacturing. Students also have the opportunity to participate in global competitions such as WorldSkills and BAJA SAEINDIA enhancing their foresight, expertise and real-world problem-solving abilities in Automotive domains.

Programme Overview
The curriculum is systematically structured over four semesters, begins with a strong foundation in Semester 1 and progresses to advanced concepts in Semesters 2 and 3.
Upon completion of the first year, students will undergo a summer internship. The program culminates in a hands-on Capstone Project in industry during Semester 4. Throughout the programme, meta-skills are intentionally taught and integrated to support holistic academic and professional growth.

Leadership in Industry

1. Candidate with B.E./B.Tech. with minimum 60% marks in 12th, 10th and graduation or equivalent CGPA from a recognized Indian university or institute. (No active backlog)
2. A score in CAT/ XAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE is preferred.
3. Open school students are not eligible.

One-time Payments
- Admissions/ Seat Blocking Fee of INR 1,00,000 at the time of Offer Confirmation Fee payment. The amount shall be adjusted against refundable security deposit (Rs. 25000/-) and the payable tuition fee instalment.
- Security Deposit (refundable) of INR 25,000 included in Seat Blocking fees at the time of Offer Confirmation Fee payment. The Security Deposit will be refunded at the time of graduation from NAMTECH, or it will be adjusted against the outstanding dues in respect of the student or at the time of withdrawal of admission from the programme
Scholarships
Scholarship of up to 100% on tuition fees are awarded based on academic performance, interview, and family income. Please note that seats are limited, and the final decision rests with the admissions & scholarships committee.
