About the program

The global robotics landscape is rapidly evolving, fuelled by breakthroughs in Artificial Intelligence, cyber-physical systems, and Industry 4.0 technologies. From smart factories and autonomous vehicles to AI-enabled healthcare and next-gen logistics, robotics is at the forefront of innovation across sectors. Markets such as industrial robotics (projected to reach $13.6B by 2028), medical robotics (estimated at $43B by 2030), and warehouse automation (expected to hit $51B by 2030) are expanding at an unprecedented pace—bringing with them a growing demand for highly skilled robotics engineers.

India stands at the threshold of a technological revolution, driven by flagship initiatives like Make in India, Digital India, and Atmanirbhar Bharat, all of which promote automation and self-reliance in advanced manufacturing. Yet, a significant talent gap persists—industries struggle to find professionals skilled in the design, integration, and deployment of intelligent robotic systems across diverse sectors.

To bridge this skills gap and empower the next generation of robotics professionals, NAMTECH has introduced the International Professional Technologist Program (iPTP), a one-year residential program designed to cultivate highly skilled world-class technologists and make an impact in Manufacturing, Engineering, and Technology (MET) domains.

Trimester 04

  1. On-the-Job Training (OJT)
  1. Master Core Industrial Automation Skills
    Acquire practical skills in mechanical design, CAD modelling, electrical panels, and fluid power systems essential for industrial automation.
  2. Program and Integrate Advanced Robotic Systems
    Develop and integrate industrial robots with PLCs, I/O systems, and sensors, preparing for roles in smart manufacturing and robotic automation.
  3. Build Expertise in Mobile and Collaborative Robotics
    Design, program, and simulate mobile robotic platforms, with exposure to embedded systems and collaborative robot applications.
  4. Demonstrate Professional and Workplace Readiness
    Exhibit strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to industry safety and quality standards for effective workplace integration.
  5. Deliver Industry-Grade Projects and On-Site Performance
    Execute real-world capstone projects and apply technical competencies during on-the-job training in industrial environments.

Students should have scored minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in ITI /Diploma and minimum 50% marks or equivalent in 10th, 12th from recognised Board. (All exams should have been cleared in first attempt with no backlog / ATKT ever).
