Technical University Of Munich (TUM ASIA)

Singapore

Technical University of Munich (TUM) was founded in 1868 and is ranked as Germany’s #1 University. Known as one of Europe’s leading technical universities, TUM has strived to create sustainable solutions for society through excellence in education and research.

TUM Asia was set up in 2002 as the first academic branch campus of any German university. TUM Asia offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees by TUM, in partnership with universities in Singapore.

Additionally, TUM Asia now offers a new suite of Executive Education courses in areas such as Industry 4.0 and Precision Engineering. TUM Asia has partnered with leading didactic and solution partner Festo SE to develop education activities, for students and employees interested in upskilling themselves in the areas of Automation Technology and Industry 4.0 (Industry 4.0) in Singapore.

NAMTECH has partnered with TUM Asia and Festo on the design of an industry-aligned course curriculum and content for the Professional Master’s Program.

Carnegie Mellon University

United States

CMU is a private research university in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The institution was originally established in 1900 by Andrew Carnegie as the Carnegie Technical School. In 1912, it became the Carnegie Institute of Technology and began granting four-year degrees. In 1967, it became the current-day Carnegie Mellon University through its merger with the Mellon Institute of Industrial Research, founded in 1913 by Andrew Mellon and Richard B. Mellon and formerly a part of the University of Pittsburgh. Carnegie Mellon stands among the world’s most renowned educational institutions and sets its own course.

Carnegie Mellon is known for its advances in research and new fields of study, notably being home to many firsts in computer science (including the first computer science[dubious – discuss], machine learning, and robotics departments), pioneering the field of management science,
Over the past 10 years, more than 400 startups linked to CMU. With cutting-edge brain science, path-breaking performances, innovative startups, driverless cars, big data, big ambitions, Nobel and Turing prizes, hands-on learning, and a whole lot of robots, CMU doesn’t imagine the future, we create it.

Under the aegis of this partnership, NAMTECH’S social outreach and sustainability initiatives will be strengthened by working closely with the Simon Initiative, Wilton E. Scott Institute, Heinz Center, and the Manufacturing of Futures Institute at CMU.

Carnegie Mellon University

ITEES

Singapore

ITE Education Services (ITEES) is a wholly owned subsidiary of ITE that was established in 2003 to share ITE’s experience in TVET with the international community. Since then, ITEES has pooled together a wide spectrum of ITE core competencies and intellectual property to assist international organisations, government agencies, TVET institutions and private organisations in raising the quality of skills development and vocational training.

NAMTECH is partnering with ITE Education Services of Singapore, a key global knowledge partner for Skills Education and Training with projects in 29 countries, to drive student-centred learning that is industry-relevant at the core.

ITE Education Services will collaborate with NAMTECH in designing and implementing engineering courses, including offering a pathway to graduate and post-graduate degrees. They will support NAMTECH to align its curriculum to the regional and global demands of new and emerging technologies such as Industry 4.0, as well as to the academic systems of higher education and skills development in India.

ITEES

Purdue University Northwest

United States

Purdue University Northwest (PNW) is a premier metropolitan university located in Northwest Indiana that is dedicated to empowering transformational change in students and in community. PNW sits between Chicago’s skyscrapers and Lake Michigan’s sandy shores. Diverse, hardworking, and innovative, PNW is where academic excellence meets real-world experience. At PNW, students from next door and students from halfway across the world come together to learn, grow, and connect.

Purdue University Northwest (PNW) has two campuses, its main campus is in Hammond with a branch campus in Westville. It is part of the Purdue University system and offers more than 70 undergraduate and graduate degree programs to approximately 6,200 students with more than 64,000 alumni.

NAMTECH has formed an academic partnership with PNM for customized experiential smart manufacturing focussed programmes that will be developed under this collaboration. In addition, visiting faculty from PNW is assisting NAMTECH to deliver specialized modules in its programs.

Purdue University Northwest

Washington University

United States

Washington University in St. Louis (WashU) is a private research university in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Founded in 1853, the university is named after George Washington, the first president of the United States.

Washington University comprises eight undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools, including Arts and Sciences, George Warren Brown School of Social Work, Olin Business School, Washington University School of Medicine, McKelvey School of Engineering, Washington University School of Law, School of Continuing & Professional Studies, and Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts. WashU’s mission is to discover and disseminate knowledge, and to protect the freedom of inquiry through research, teaching and learning.

NAMTECH has partnered with WashU to develop the operational excellence programming module for the iPMP cohort to familiarize learners with best practices of world-class manufacturing.

AM/NS India, founded by world’s leading steel companies, ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel is an integrated steel manufacturer.

NAMTECH has forged a strategic partnership with AMNS its founder Festo, a global leader in manufacturing and research. AMNS will help in the development of course curriculum, capstone projects, and industry case studies for academic delivery to learners in the smart manufacturing program.

This partnership not only enriches our academic programs but also empowers students with practical skills and knowledge that are highly relevant in today’s manufacturing landscape. Together, we are shaping the future of manufacturing education, preparing students to excel in their careers and contribute meaningfully to the industry.

Schneider

NAMTECH partnered with Schneider Electric, the industry leader in energy management and automation, to establish a state-of-the-art smart campus and training labs for its transitory campus in Gandhinagar and the upcoming 150-acre educational campus in Ahmedabad.
This strategic alliance ensures that our students have access to top-notch lab facilities, industry-aligned curriculum, and opportunities for career growth and development. In addition, our students stand to benefit from industry expertise for faculty and skills exposure, as well as employment opportunities in India and abroad.

This collaboration was entered into with a view to help design and deliver NAMTECH’s International Professional Master’s Program (IPMP) in Smart Manufacturing and in due course join hands to build our new campus into a living lab, setting new benchmarks in sustainability and responsible living.

Festo

NAMTECH has forged a strategic partnership with Festo, a global leader in automation technology. Festo will design and supply cutting-edge labs at NAMTECH interim campus at Research Park, IIT Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.

Festo’s role as a strategic partner for lab equipment and curriculum development ensures that our students have access to state-of-the-art facilities and industry-aligned learning experiences. NAMTECH work with the didactic team at Festo with an aim to offer students insights into leading Industry 4.0 technology.

NAMTECH has partnered with Micron, a global leader in semiconductor solutions. This collaboration spans across academic development, infrastructure setup, student training, and recruitment initiatives.
Micron is leading the semiconductor manufacturing foray in India and establishing a state-of-the-art facility in Sanand, which lies in close proximity to our campus. By working closely with industry leaders, NAMTECH ensures that its programs are aligned with industry demands, providing students with hands-on experience, cutting-edge infrastructure, and opportunities for career advancement.

NAMTECH has partnered with Cisco, a global leader in networking and technology solutions. This partnership brings together expertise in manufacturing technologies and digital innovation to enhance our academic programs and industry relevance.

This strategic collaboration reflects NAMTECH’S commitment to delivering industry-relevant education and empowering students to excel in the dynamic fields of Cybersecurity and Networking in the field of manufacturing.

The partnership with industry leaders like CISCO to co-design curriculum, co-invest in learning infrastructure, and participate in recruitment drives helps is highly beneficial for our young professionals. Moreover, by working closely with partners, NAMTECH ensures that its curriculum is aligned with industry needs, providing students with hands-on experience, cutting-edge infrastructure, and pathways to meaningful careers.

ASDC

ASDC is the first sector skill council of India promoted by the automobile industry, with representations from leading industry associations from the automotive sector and the Government of India. ASDC is the apex body entrusted to address the skilling requirements of the entire automotive value chain.

NAMTECH has partnered with ASDC to support curriculum design , content development and delivery for vocational upskilling programs under NAMTECH School for Social Impact aligned with the TVET model.
