Dr. Sanjeev Gupta obtained his PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Queen’s University, Belfast, United Kingdom. He was awarded prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship by Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, London for pursuing his PhD. His research interests include RF and Wireless Communication. He has authored and published/presented more than eighty research papers in reputed National and International Journals, Conferences and Symposia. He is the Editorial Board Member and Reviewer of various journals.

After a long tenure as Dean at DA-IICT, he brings to NAMTECH academic administration to create meaningful change and drive impact in the education sector. He was a member of Board of Governors, Academic Council and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of DA-IICT. He also served as Member of Governing Council (as Additional Director) and Chairman, Executive Council of DCEI (DA-IICT Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation) – a Section 8 Company. Prior to DA-IICT, he was Senior Scientist at TIFR and SAMEER, IIT Bombay.

He thrives at the intersection of research, teaching and creativity. He advocates for education equality and is always eager to connect with fellow colleagues and students. Having travelled extensively, he has a unique appreciation for nature and is passionate about astronomy, star-gazing and reading.
