AM/NS India and Schneider Electric to collaborate on high-tech training facilities and programs in Smart Manufacturing
NAMTECH has partnered with global leader Schneider Electric to establish state-of-the-art smart campus and training labs for its upcoming 150-acre educational campus in Ahmedabad.
The collaboration will help design and deliver NAMTECH’s International Professional Master’s Program in Smart Manufacturing.
Students will also benefit from industry expertise for faculty and skills exposure, as well as employment opportunities for students in India and abroad.

AM/NS India and Festo sign MOU on higher and vocational education collaboration
NAMTECH signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Festo, world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of automation technology and technical education.
Festo will design and supply labs for NAMTECH at its interim campus at Research Park, IIT Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.
The MOU envisages design and delivery of short and long-term academic programs, starting with NAMTECH’s flagship one-year, International Professional Master’s Program in Smart Manufacturing and the upcoming, Professional Technologist Program in Industrial Automation and Trainings.
The partnership will also work to launch programs in the areas of academic and capability development to ensure the delivery of student services, such as providing industry experts as faculty members, organising industry visits, and creating internship and employment opportunities for students in India and abroad.

NAMTECH leadership team visited the leading Universities in USA, namely Carnegie Mellon University, Washington University, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and California Polytechnic State University during the first week of December 2022 for finalizing the academic collaborations with these institutions.

The NAMTECH team, on an invitation by ITE Singapore, attended a Leadership Training Program at their campus in Singapore in February 2023. The training sessions covered areas like Design Thinking, TVET, Space Design Allocation, Infrastructure Innovation and digital transformation in TVET, amongst other topics.

NAMTECH leadership team visited USA’s leading Educational Institutions, Universities, and Education conferences, namely Arizona State University (ASU), Purdue Northwest University, Illinois Tech University, PIMA Community College, MESA Community College, RIO Salado Community College, and ASU-GSV summit during April 2023 for exploring best practices in Digital & Technology Infrastructure, physical Infrastructure, academic and Industry alignment with these institutions and evaluating strategic and academic collaborations with ASU and Purdue Universities

The office operations of NAMTECH at transitory campus were inaugurated on November 2022 along with puja and a lamp-lighting ceremony. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries from the leadership of AM/NS India, leadership and faculty of IIT Gandhinagar, local philanthropists and people of eminence from the field of education.

NAMTECH entered into an agreement for leasing a part of Research Park at IIT Gandhinagar in August 2022. This space will serve as a transitory campus for NAMTECH. Additionally, NAMTECH will also have access to other non-academic (sports, library, auditorium etc.) and residential facilities of IIT Gandhinagar.
