NAMTECH has made its mark on the global stage by winning a Bronze Medal in the Industry 4.0 category at WorldSkills 2024 in France. Building on this achievement, our students are now preparing to compete with the world’s best talent at the upcoming global competition
So far, NAMTECH has secured 12 medals, including 5 Gold, 5 Silver, and 2 Bronze, across advanced skill categories such as Industry 4.0, Robot System Integration, Industrial Mechanics, and Optoelectronics.
Beyond training its own students, NAMTECH is also contributing to India’s broader skill ecosystem. Under the leadership of Mr. Dishank Upadhyay, boot camps are conducted at the NAMTECH Campus to train WorldSkills participants in the Industry 4.0 category. Through this initiative, NAMTECH is training candidates from numerous institutions from across Indian states and regions, contributing to the development of a strong and industry-ready talent ecosystem.
At the regional level, NAMTECH students have qualified from the South and West regions in the Industry 4.0 category, with North region results currently awaited. In addition, students have qualified from the West Region in Robot System Integration, Industrial Mechanics, and Optoelectronics.
The next step is the National Skills Competition, where NAMTECH students will compete for the opportunity to represent India on the global stage at WorldSkills 2026, scheduled to happen in Shanghai 2026.
