NAMTECH Hosts Faculty Development Program on Industrial Robotics for Smart & Sustainable Manufacturing

NAMTECH’s School of Robotics, in collaboration with the Centre for Sustainable Energy & Circularity (CSEC) and IIT Roorkee, is hosting a five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Industrial Robotics for Smart & Sustainable Manufacturing from 6–10 July at the NAMTECH campus.

The program brings together faculty members from reputed academic institutions and industry professionals for an immersive, hands-on learning experience centered on live industrial robotic systems. Participants are gaining practical expertise in robot fundamentals, industrial safety standards, motion control, teach pendant programming, PLC–robot communication, vision-guided automation, and smart robotic work-cell deployment. Through intensive technical sessions and real-world industrial applications, the FDP aims to strengthen participants’ capabilities in advanced robotics and smart manufacturing while fostering deeper collaboration between academia and industry to develop future-ready engineering talent.
