The leadership team of NAMTECH’s founding partner, AM/NS India, recently visited NAMTECH, covering the current campus at IIT Gandhinagar and the upcoming campus at Godhavi, Ahmedabad.
The delegation was led by Mr. Kaneyuki Yamamoto, Board Member, NAMTECH and AM/NS India. The visiting leadership team comprised Mr. Daniel Wallden, Head of Treasury Operations and Joint Ventures, and Mr. Wanderley Costa, Head of Treasury Front Office, ArcelorMittal Treasury, Paris; Mr. Amit Harlalka, Chief Financial Officer, AM/NS India; Mr. Akiyo Omori, Deputy Chief Financial Officer, AM/NS India; Mr. Appi Reddy Guttikonda, Head, AMNS Global Treasury Centre; and Ms. Sonal Tiwari, Company Secretary, AM/NS India.
The purpose of the visit was to review NAMTECH’s overall performance and assess the progress of the upcoming Godhavi campus, which is progressing towards operational readiness. During the visit, the leadership team engaged with the NAMTECH management to gain deeper insights into the institute’s pedagogy, experiential learning framework, and industry-integrated curriculum.
The delegation also toured the advanced high-tech laboratories that are integral to NAMTECH’s journey towards enabling smart manufacturing and developing future-ready talent. In addition, the leaders interacted with shortlisted students undergoing focused training for participation in the WorldSkills Competition 2026, to be held in Shanghai, China, and encouraged them as they prepare to compete on a global platform.
The visit reaffirmed AMNS India’s continued commitment to NAMTECH’s mission of building a world-class manufacturing engineering and technology education ecosystem aligned with global industry standards.
