NAMTECH, in collaboration with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the WorldSkills India banner, successfully hosted the International Online Friendly Competition in Industry 4.0 from 30 July to 2 August 2026. The competition was conducted under the guidance of Mr. Dishank Upadhyay, Expert Lead – Industry 4.0, WorldSkills 2026, Shanghai.
The competition brought together competitors and experts from India, China, and Chinese Taipei, providing an international platform for technical exchange, collaboration, and benchmarking of Industry 4.0 skills.
Participants experienced a WorldSkills-style competition environment, worked with advanced smart manufacturing technologies, and showcased their technical capabilities against international standards. The event also enabled participants to learn from experts and fellow competitors while gaining valuable exposure to global best practices in Industry 4.0.
Beyond the competition, the event served as a platform for knowledge sharing, international collaboration, and the exchange of ideas, highlighting the importance of cross-border engagement in advancing skills for the future of manufacturing.
