Ms. Priya Singh

Ms. Priya Singh is a Senior Lecturer at Centre of Advanced Computing and AI. She is also a Visiting Researcher (As part of Doctoral Studies) at the School of Computational and Integrative Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, and is pursuing her PhD in Computer Science at the DST-Centre of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences (DST-CIMS), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. Her doctoral research focuses on the development of advanced deep learning frameworks for coronary artery disease detection and coronary artery stenosis estimation using medical imaging.

She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in computer science and has over six years of teaching experience in higher education, with experience teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has also delivered courses through online learning platforms, combining academic instruction with technology-enabled teaching methodologies.

In addition to her academic experience, Priya has worked as a Machine Learning Researcher and Developer, contributing to research-driven industrial projects involving artificial intelligence and machine learning. Her research interests include medical image analysis, deep learning, computer vision, image preprocessing, and AI-driven healthcare applications.

Her research contributions include peer-reviewed journal and conference publications, book chapters, and a patent. Her interdisciplinary expertise spans Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, enabling her to design and develop innovative, data-driven, and research-oriented solutions to real-world challenges. She is particularly interested in translating advances in AI and deep learning into practical applications in healthcare and other complex domains.
