Dr. Adireddi Balaji

I am a PhD graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, where I completed my research in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. My doctoral thesis was titled “Nonlinear Analysis of Infinite-Dimensional Non-Smooth Dynamical Systems.”

In addition to my thesis work, I have also explored research problems in the areas of time-delayed systems, impact dynamics, rigid body dynamics, parallel manipulators, and the stability of high-dimensional systems.

As part of my PhD journey, I had the opportunity to work as a Visiting Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. During this time, I attended three international conferences and also organized a 3-hour workshop on numerical simulations of impact problems at IIT Gandhinagar.

Following my PhD, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at IIT Hyderabad for one year, contributing to a DRDO-sponsored project focused on identifying inertial parameters for missile systems.

Beyond academics, I enjoy playing badminton, working out at the gym, and travelling.
