
Dr. Rohit Singh Lather
Dr. Rohit Singh Lather is an automotive engineering, energy, and project management professional with experience spanning academia, industry consulting, research, and engineering training. He holds a Ph.D. in Energy Studies from IIT Delhi, an M.Tech. in Automotive Engineering from VIT/ARAI, and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Kurukshetra University.
He specializes in automotive product development, vehicle engineering, energy and alternative fuels, design validation, engineering simulation, and project management. As a consultant, he has delivered INR 6M+ in consultancy projects, supporting automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers across engineering, product development, design validation, project execution, and engineering best practices. His consulting engagements have included automotive engineering and technology projects, project management and execution, engineering training and capability development, design and validation activities, and cross-functional technical reviews.
He has held leadership and academic positions at Vegazva Group, The NorthCap University, MSIT, IIT Delhi, and ARAI. He also has international research exposure through Ghent University, Belgium, in combustion and engine research. He received an IIT Delhi Institute Scholarship for his Ph.D. and has published research in combustion, alternative fuels, and sustainable automotive technologies.
