Ananya Maitra is the CFO & Director (Finance, Legal & Procurement) at NAMTECH . With over 28 years of experience in strategic finance leadership, she joined Namtech after a transformative tenure of more than three and half years at our parent organization ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS) India Pvt Ltd, where she built and led the Capex Finance & Controlling function from the ground up, digitised processes, championed innovation and supported multi-billion dollar investment decisions across different plants within India and abroad, centrally.
In her current role at NAMTECH, she oversees financial strategy, legal compliance and procurement, to create a future-forward learning ecosystem, rooted in equity, innovation, and operational excellence.
Colleagues describe her as an innovative and authentic CXO, who combines empathetic assertiveness with rigorous analysis, a rare blend that brings both heart and precision to the leadership table.
In her past career, she has worked with leading organizations across India, including SREI, Hindalco, Essar Steel, ILFS, Aditya Birla Finance Ltd. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics from St. Xaviers College, Kolkata and Masters’ in Business Management (with specialisation in Financial Management) from the University of Calcutta.
