Mr. Dishank Upadhyay

Dishank Upadhyay is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Additive Manufacturing at Gujarat Technological University. With an impressive academic background, He hold M.E. in CAD/CAM with Gold Medal, a B.E. in Mechatronics and a Diploma in Mechatronics with Gold Medal. He is certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He is also the India Expert for Industry 4.0 at World Skills, under his guidance during WSC 2024 team India had won Bronze medal and brough glory to the nation. He is also part of the Expert Group for Future Technology at Automotive Sector Development Council (ASDC).

Previously, He held significant role at TeamLease Skills University – India’s First Skills University, where he was the Head of the Mechatronics Department and the University IQAC Coordinator, ensuring compliance and quality in academics. He has served as Subject matter expert at various sector skills councils and helping Industry and Academia to come together to build an Industry relevant curriculum.

In addition to his teaching roles, Dishank has engaged in various consultancy projects, offering design and automation expertise across multiple industries, including healthcare. He has conducted numerous corporate training programs in mechanical engineering and CNC operations.

His research contributions include publications on automated systems and hot turning applications in reputable journals. Dishank has also gained international experience through participation in curriculum development initiatives in the UK and Singapore, further enhancing their knowledge in Mechatronics and entrepreneurship. Passionate about advancing skills in their field and fostering industry connections, He is dedicated for improving employability and educational outcomes.
