Vishwanath Nagallapati

Dr. Vishwanath Nagallapati is a Ph.D. graduate from Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad where he pursued his research in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department. His area of research was in metal additive manufacturing with the thesis title “Thermal management in wire arc additive manufacturing”.

He presented his work at various national and international conferences. In addition to this, his research interests include powder DED, machine learning for AM and Hybrid manufacturing for sustainability. He pursued his M.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering from National Institute of Technology Warangal and received Prof. R.L.Murthy Gold Medal award for academic excellence.

His master’s work was on “Tool wear studies while welding copper using friction stir welding technique”. He did his B.Tech in mechanical Engineering from Kakatiya University, Warangal, Telangana.

He enjoys travelling, reading books, swimming and outdoor games.
